It appears that LIU Brooklyn has one more member to their roster for this upcoming season.

Early Tuesday evening, LIU got a commitment from Mitchell McMullen. He is a point guard from out of Schertz, Texas just outside of San Antonio. He is listed somewhere between 5’7” and 5’10” by several websites. He played his high school ball at Samuel Clemens High School in Schertz. He was named onto the All-District 25-6A second team. He was also a member of 210 Jayhawks AAU team out of San Antonio, Texas.

He announced his commitment to LIU on Twitter:

McMullen will be joining LIU as a walk-on next season. LIU has already all 13 scholarships for next season committed.

McMullen has no shortage of highlights videos available online but here are just a couple which are most recent.

As you see in the videos, he is a southpaw shooter who has a nice looking jump shot from three. Looks like he has the ability to penetrate into the lane and can also dish the rock.

Futures150.com has a scouting report and some notes on McMullen.

McMullen will become the fourteenth player on LIU roster and the sixth new addition to the roster for the 2015-16 season.
