Kwe Askew signs NLI to play for LIU Brooklyn

It’s official! Stamford (CT) High School forward Kwe Askew today signed his National Letter of Intent to attend LIU Brooklyn and play for the men’s basketball team next season.

Scott Ericson of the Stamford Advocate/Hearst Connecticut Media, who also was the first to announce the Askew to LIU news last week, tweeted this photo of Askew signing his National Letter of Intent at his high school this morning:

Askew himself posted a selfie of himself prior to him signing his NLI with the message “signing day” on it:

Askew verbally committed to LIU Brooklyn last week and was the first from the 2015 class to do so.

Congratulations to Askew on his signing with the Blackbirds and wish him good luck in his LIU career.
