LIU Brooklyn alum Jason Brickman who last week sign with his second professional team in Germany top flight club Medi Bayreuth, made his debut on Tuesday with the team and it was quite an impressive one.

Brickman had a very solid debut, finishing with 11 points on 3 of 6 shooting including 3 of 4 from three-point land and dished out 10 assists with just three turnovers and a steal in over 27 minutes off the bench for his first professional double-double in a 101-96 win over Telekon Baskets Bonn.

Brickman will wear number 55 for his new club. His customary number 15 is already taken by former Georgetown forward Brandon Bowman.

Brickman joined the team last Friday and there was uncertainty whether or not he will get be ready to play this game. He was definitely was ready and put out a nice performance.

His team’s next game is on Saturday against Alba Berlin who is in first place in the German BBL.
