At around 8:15pm Thursday night, Jason Brickman gave a bounce pass to Troy Joseph for his 805th career assist to break the NEC career assist scoring record. Since that moment it has been an eventful 24 hours for the LIU Brooklyn point guard.

Twitter was a buzz after he broke the record after word that he had broken the NEC record had gotten out. Brickman received congratulatory and recognition tweets from all over the college basketball landscape including former players and coaches to NEC officials to people who cover him and have watched him build up to the record over the last three-plus seasons.
