Jack Perri featured in this week’s NEC On The Run Podcast

This week, LIU Brooklyn’s first-year head coach Jack Perri was the guest on the NEC’s On The Run Video Podcast. The weekly podcast is produced by the Northeast Conference and is hosted by John Kelly, Jr (Twitter: @jfkjr24). Each week he has on Ron Ratner (@NECHoopsRon), associate commissioner of the NEC, to talk the NEC men’s basketball and then he has on Ralph Ventre (@NECralph), NEC Director of Communications to talk about NEC women’s hoops.

Every week, the video podcast features a guest and this week it is Jack Perri who talks about his transition from associate head coach to being the head coach this season, the challenges he has to deal with in his first year, the loss of NEC Player of the Year Julian Boyd, how they had to change their playing style a bit this season, how fortunate LIU were to land Jamal Olasewere. C.J. Garner and Jason Brickman, their next two opponents this week, what he thinks of some of the other top tier NEC teams, and the keys to sustaining success after this season.

It was an insightful interview if you are an LIU Brooklyn fan or alum. You can check out the interview starting at the 13:00 mark but check out the whole podcast especially if you a fan of NEC hoops. It is a great 30-minute listen/watch.
